The historic Bethlehem Baptist Church, designed by Rudolph Schindler in Los Angeles, has undergone numberous ill-concieved renovations through the years.
Reflecting Pool takes advantage of the unsightly downspouts installed during one of these renovations, and transforms it into a post-industrial baptismal font/ rainbarrel for washing ecological sins.
Interestingly, it is illegal to collect rainwater in LA.
